Congruent is a term used by Carl Rogers to describe when a person's ideal self and actual experience are consistent or very similar. It's also a symbol (≅) in mathematics, used to show that two figures, shapes, or objects are identical in shape and size - the same!

While it's not humanly possible to be fully congruent in every moment, the idea is to become MORE congruent. Wearing this sweater reminds me be more mindful - that what's happening externally (what I say and how I say it), mirrors what's happening inside of me. Less hiding, more expressing.
